The town of Rutherfordton and the Carrier Houses were featured in the August issue of Our State Magazine. How very exciting for us! This is a state wide publication about all things North Carolina. Every issue they highlight a small town that you should visit. Katie King, and associate editor visited us in March and sent a photographer in May. Once the issue came out, we had so many people come to Rutherfordton and stay with us because of the coverage. It was so amazing to have so many guests from all over come and stay with us. Jean and Forrest traveled from Florida because Jean saw the magazine in her doctor’s office in Florida and decided to check us out on their way to Tennessee. We were overwhelmed by the support of our business because of  the article in Our State. Thanks to the staff for featuring us!
