In addition, you will be just a short drive from major attractions in the area.

Forest City has many wonderful shops and restaurants as well as the Owls, a collegiate summer league featuring top-notch college players from across the country. Over the holiday season downtown Forest City has over half a million lights - more than any other town in NC.

Lake Lure and the Chimney Rock Village have a beautiful beach and views of the mountains with boating, fishing, swimming, rock climbing and golf. Lake Lure is where the movie 'Dirty Dancing" was filmed. Chimney Rock State Park offers hiking and a breath taking view of Hickory Nut Gorge and the surrounding area.

Looking to explore even further, you can travel to Biltmore in Asheville, breweries in Old Fort, the Blue Ridge Parkway in Little Switzerland and the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring.
